SIM-based auto dialer for mobile phones

Auto dialer with SIM card calling from your own number

An auto dialer with SIM card places calls to a list through the SIM in a mobile phone, so every call travels over the normal mobile network instead of the internet.

AutoDial CRM dials your list from the SIM you choose and logs each call against the lead, with the right SIM name in the history.

  • Choose a SIM call by call, or keep a business default
  • Calls show your own mobile number
  • Choose which SIMs back up to the account

What is a SIM-based auto dialer?

A SIM-based auto dialer calls a list of numbers automatically through a mobile SIM card, not through internet calling or a cloud phone server. AutoDial CRM falls in this group, an auto dialer app that runs on the phone and dials from the SIM already inside it.

Two kinds of product answer this search. One is a GSM auto dialer box, a small device with a SIM slot that calls preset numbers when an alarm or sensor triggers it. The other is a phone app that works through a sales or service list using the handset’s own SIM. AutoDial CRM is the second kind. It replaces the default dialer on Android, so each call is an ordinary mobile call from your number, billed on your plan and shown in the phone’s history. With two SIMs in the phone, you can switch SIMs per call or name one as the business default, and the history shows the correct SIM name on every call, older Android versions included. You also decide which SIMs back up to the account, so a personal SIM’s calls can stay off the business record. Facts were checked against the product’s own feature list on 14 October 2026.

Auto dialer with SIM card benefits

  • Your number on their screen

Leads see a mobile number they can save, call back or message.

  • No VoIP setup

No virtual numbers, softphones or call-center servers to buy or configure.

  • Calls on your existing plan

Minutes are drawn from your current mobile plan.

  • Business and personal apart

Pick a business SIM for dialing and back up only that SIM.

  • Calls where data is weak

The call itself uses the mobile network, so a poor data signal does not break it.

Auto dialer with SIM card for dual SIM phones

Many people who sell by phone carry one SIM for business and one for family. The dialer is built for that.

  • Default business SIM: set it once, and your business calls go out on it without asking each time.
  • Choice per call: for a one-off call, pick the other SIM without changing the default.
  • Correct SIM names: each call in the history shows which SIM placed it, including on phones and Android versions that label SIMs in their own way.
  • Call-backs on the right line: from a missed-call notification you can return the call in one tap and choose the SIM.
  • Per-SIM backup: choose which SIMs back up, and list excluded numbers, which are kept out of backup and all automation.

The same SIM setting applies when you click to call a number in Chrome and your phone dials it. For how each SIM’s calls look afterwards, see the call history manager.

SIM based auto dialer for a calling list

The SIM is the line; the list is the work. Choose what to dial (an imported Excel or CSV file, a lead filter, numbers from your call log, leads someone handed to you, or today’s follow-ups) and the dialer rings them one by one through the business SIM. You set the pause between calls and how long each may ring. Unanswered numbers get 1 to 3 retries, and when the network cuts a call before the first ring, the app dials it again (twice at most). For a single stubborn number, one-number redial keeps calling it with the tries and gap you pick.

When the list contains leads who prefer WhatsApp, the same dialer can call them through WhatsApp instead of the SIM, within a daily limit; the bulk calling app page shows how a full spreadsheet is imported and worked.

Auto dialer with SIM card setup

  1. On the Android phone that holds the business SIM, install AutoDial CRM and accept it as the phone’s dialer.
  2. Mark the business SIM as the one for business calls.
  3. Choose which SIMs back up to the account, and add any excluded numbers.
  4. Import your list or pick a lead filter, then set the pause, ring limit and retries.
  5. Start the session; each call goes out from the business SIM and is logged on the lead.

Auto dialer with SIM card limits

A SIM dials one call at a time, so each phone works one list at a time. Heavy daily calling on a personal plan may run into your operator’s terms, so check your plan. AutoDial CRM is an app, not a GSM hardware dialer for an alarm panel. The call-log features on this page, such as SIM names in the history and per-SIM backup, need Android, since the iPhone version has no way to read the phone’s call log. Some countries regulate which numbers may be used for promotional calls and keep do-not-call registers, so check the rules where you call before running a promotional list (general information, not legal advice). If you need virtual numbers, an IVR or inbound call queues, a cloud dialer is the better fit.

Auto dialer with SIM card example

An illustration, not a named customer. A building supplies distributor in Lusaka, Zambia, has two sales reps, each with a dual SIM phone: SIM 1 for personal calls and SIM 2 for the company line. The owner sets SIM 2 as the default for business calls on both phones and backs up only SIM 2. A list of 140 hardware shops is imported from Excel and split as assigned leads, 70 per rep. With a 5-second pause and 2 retries, the reps reach 85 shops over two days, and 30 ask for a price on cement or roofing sheets, each logged with a remark and a follow-up. Every call shows SIM 2 in the history, and the reps’ family calls on SIM 1 never reach the company account.

FAQ

Auto dialer with SIM card FAQ

  1. Can I set my phone to automatically call someone?

Yes. An auto dialer app on the phone can call a number or a whole list for you through your SIM. AutoDial CRM calls a list one by one, and its one-number redial keeps trying a single number with the tries and gap you pick.

  2. What is the best auto dialer with SIM card?

The best auto dialer with SIM card dials from your own number, lets you choose the SIM on a dual SIM phone and records every call on the lead. AutoDial CRM does all three and keeps the correct SIM name on each call in the history.

  3. Is AutoDial CRM an auto dialer with SIM card?

Yes. Once it takes over as the phone's dialer, AutoDial CRM sends its auto dialer calls through the phone's SIM, with no VoIP account, virtual number or call-center server.

  4. Is a GSM auto dialer box the same as an auto dialer app?

No. A GSM auto dialer box is a small hardware device with a SIM slot that calls preset numbers when an alarm or sensor triggers it, while an auto dialer app such as AutoDial CRM runs on a phone and works through a sales or service list.

  5. Which SIM does the auto dialer use on a dual SIM phone?

The SIM you marked as the business default, so dialing sessions stay on that line. For a single call you can still pick the other SIM, and the history shows the right SIM name on each call.

  6. Can a SIM-based auto dialer call international numbers?

Yes, at your mobile plan's international rates. AutoDial CRM handles international number formats for display and dialing, and for leads abroad who use WhatsApp, calling through WhatsApp over data can cost less.

  7. Does the auto dialer cap the number of SIM calls?

No, the app's daily cap is for WhatsApp calls, not SIM calls. A SIM session is paced by your gap between calls, ring limit and retries, and by your mobile plan's terms.

  8. Can I call a list from my SIM and send a WhatsApp after each call?

Yes. The SIM dialer places the calls, and an automatic WhatsApp can follow each one, with different messages for missed, outgoing and incoming calls.

  9. Does an auto dialer with SIM card work on iPhone?

Check with support before relying on it. iPhone gives apps no access to the phone's call log, so SIM names in the history and per-SIM backup are Android features.

  10. Is an auto dialer with SIM card allowed for promotional calls?

It depends on the country. Some countries regulate which numbers may be used for promotional calls and keep do-not-call registers, while calls to people who asked to hear from you are usually treated differently. Check your local rules (general information, not legal advice).

  11. How much does an auto dialer with SIM card cost with AutoDial CRM?

AutoDial CRM costs ₹299 per user a month billed every 3 months (₹897), or ₹199 per user a month billed yearly (₹2,388). In US dollars that is $3.79 or $2.79 per user a month.

Your next call is ringing.

Install AutoDial CRM, import your leads and let the dialer, the WhatsApp and the follow-up alarm do the remembering.
