Call log manager for Android business phones

Call history manager with filters, remarks and backup for business calls

A call history manager is an app that sorts, searches and keeps the calls on a phone, so older calls and what was said on them are not lost in a long list.

AutoDial CRM adds remarks and lead details to each call, copies the history to your account and brings it back when you sign in on a new phone.

  • Filter by missed, connected, rejected, spam, paid clients, lost leads and more
  • WhatsApp, Google Meet and Zoom calls listed beside SIM calls
  • Backup rules for which SIMs, which numbers and which hours

What is a call history manager?

A call history manager is an app that sorts, filters and stores a phone’s calls, so past conversations stay easy to find and hard to lose. AutoDial CRM is a call history manager for Android business phones that ties each call to a customer record and keeps a copy in your account.

Free call history manager apps on Google Play mostly organise the phone’s own log and export it. AutoDial CRM takes over as the handset’s calling app instead, so each call is saved under the SIM it really used and labelled with its true type, on brands with unusual type codes too. WhatsApp, Google Meet and Zoom calls appear in the same list. Filters split the log into missed, rejected, blocked and spam calls, incoming and outgoing, connected calls, unique numbers, paid clients and lost leads. A remark can be attached to any call, and one customer screen gathers that person’s calls, WhatsApp messages, remarks, reminders and lead details. Calls back up to your account under the SIMs and rules you choose, and signing in on a replacement handset brings them back. Every sync run is recorded in a log you can retry from, and a self-check repairs data missing on either side. Each fact here comes from AutoDial CRM’s feature list as it stood on 14 October 2026. Calling whole lists from the same app is explained under the auto dialer app.

Call history manager filters: missed calls to lost leads

A phone’s built-in log usually offers only a few basic views. AutoDial CRM splits the history into ten views, and each one answers a different question:

  • Missed, incoming and outgoing: who rang while you were busy, and who you have already called back
  • Connected, rejected and blocked: which calls turned into conversations and which were refused
  • Spam: numbers flagged as spam, from your own reports or other users’, kept apart from real customers
  • Unique numbers: one row per person, so ten calls to the same number count once
  • Paid clients: calls with customers who have paid you
  • Lost leads: numbers you dialled whose calls never lasted beyond a limit of 60, 30 or 0 seconds

The analytics rings on the same account count each of these groups over a range you choose, from just today up to the full history, or between custom dates. Tapping a ring opens the call log already filtered to those calls, which turns a number on a chart into a list of people to phone back.

Call log manager with remarks and customer history

A call log manager earns its place when each line in the log says why the call mattered. When a call ends, two taps on the after-call sheet store the outcome, a note and the next follow-up, and that note comes back on screen the next time the person calls.

Open any caller and one screen shows the whole relationship, with tabs for lead details, calls, WhatsApp, remarks and reminders, along with every status change. A switchable option turns each new caller into a saved contact 60 seconds after the call, with a prefix in front of the name so these entries are easy to spot. Incoming numbers are named from your own leads, clients and contacts in the first place, so the log shows people rather than bare digits. A single app-wide search covers calls and contacts, leads, remarks and reminders, plus clients, chats, templates, products and packages, and every hit appears as the same full card used on its home screen. The lead side of each record is covered in depth on the lead management app page, and promised call-backs can ring as alarms from the follow-up reminder app.

Call history manager app for dual SIM and internet calls

Dual SIM phones often blur which number a call used. AutoDial CRM records the correct SIM name on every call, including on older Android versions, and learns the call type codes that some handsets use, so incoming, outgoing and missed calls are labelled correctly. Business calls can use a default SIM, or you pick the SIM for each call.

Calls made over the internet are logged too. WhatsApp, Google Meet and Zoom calls take their place in the history next to SIM calls, which matters for a client who only ever rings on WhatsApp. After a missed call, the notification lets you ring back in one tap on the SIM you pick, or open WhatsApp instead. Owners who want every employee’s calls in one place can read how the team view works on the call tracking app page.

Call history manager sync and sync log

Calls, leads, statuses, remarks, follow-ups, clients, templates and WhatsApp CRM history are copied to your account, in the background and again in full each time the app opens. On a new phone, signing in brings it all back. You stay in charge of what leaves the phone:

  • SIM choice: a SIM left unticked keeps its calls on the phone
  • Excluded numbers: never copied, and ignored by every automatic action too
  • Working hours only: copy just the calls that fall inside the branch schedule, including days off and the local time zone
  • Leads and clients only: copy just the calls involving leads, leads assigned to you, or paying clients

The sync log shows what ran and when. Each run can be retried, and a separate option re-sends everything for a fresh start. A self-check runs between the phone and the account and repairs data missing in either direction. Whether a deletion on the phone also removes the copy on the server is set by admin permissions.

Call history manager setup

  1. Download AutoDial CRM to your Android handset and follow the guided setup to make it the dialer. Your usual calling, contacts and history screens carry on as normal.
  2. Sign in, then tick the SIMs whose calls should be backed up.
  3. Put relatives’ and friends’ numbers on the excluded list, and switch on either backup rule if you need it.
  4. Set the lost lead limit at 60, 30 or 0 seconds.
  5. Make a few calls, add remarks on the after-call sheet, and open the sync log to confirm the first run.

Call history manager limits

The call history features need Android, because iOS does not let any app read the iPhone’s call log; the iPhone app covers leads, follow-ups, WhatsApp and the rest. AutoDial CRM cannot restore calls that were never backed up, such as calls deleted before it was installed or kept out by your rules. It does not show the call history of another person’s number or phone. Call recordings come from the phone itself: AutoDial CRM imports what the built-in recorder saves rather than recording on its own. If all you want is to clear or export your personal log once, a small free utility will do, and a business calling app is more than you need.

Call history manager example

An illustration, not a named customer. A tiles and sanitaryware wholesaler in Karachi, Pakistan, has 5 salespeople who each handle about 60 calls a day from contractors and shop owners, many of them on WhatsApp. The office manager installs AutoDial CRM on their Android phones, backs up only the business SIM and excludes family numbers. Each salesperson adds a remark after every call, such as quantity, site and next step. When one salesperson’s phone is stolen in the third month, she signs in on a new handset that evening, and roughly 3,000 calls, with their remarks and follow-ups, are back by the next morning. On Friday the manager filters the log to lost leads, finds about 40 numbers whose calls ended within seconds, and shares them out for another try.

FAQ

Call history manager FAQ

  1. How do I manage call history on Android?

Install a call history manager that can filter the log by call type, attach notes and keep a copy off the phone. AutoDial CRM does all three as the Android phone app, so calls are sorted, annotated and backed up without a separate tool.

  2. What is the best call history manager app for business?

The best call history manager app for business links every call to the customer it was with and keeps the log safe when a phone is lost. AutoDial CRM does both, with remarks on calls, a full customer history screen and backup to the account.

  3. Is AutoDial CRM a call history manager?

Yes. AutoDial CRM is a call history manager and calling CRM for Android: it replaces the phone's dialer, filters the log ten ways, adds remarks to calls and backs the history up to your account.

  4. Can I check my call history online?

Yes, for calls that were backed up to your AutoDial CRM account. The owner can open the team's call logs in a web browser, and signing in on another phone restores the history there too.

  5. Will the app bring back calls deleted before I installed it?

No. AutoDial CRM can only restore calls that were backed up to your account, so calls deleted before it was set up, or kept out by your backup rules, cannot be brought back.

  6. What happens to my call history when I change phones?

It comes with you. Install AutoDial CRM on the new phone and sign in, and the backed-up calls, leads, remarks and follow-ups are restored to it.

  7. Can I add notes to a call in my call log?

Yes. Add a remark right after the call on the after-call sheet, or later from the call or lead, and the remark is shown again the next time that person calls.

  8. Can I back up only one SIM's calls?

Yes. Tick only the business SIM in the backup settings and calls on the other SIM never leave the phone. Single numbers can also go on an excluded list, which stops them being copied or used by any automation.

  9. Does the call log include Zoom and Google Meet calls?

Yes, on Android. Zoom, Google Meet and WhatsApp calls are logged in the same call history as SIM calls, so a client meeting held online still appears in the record.

  10. Why does my call log show the wrong SIM name?

Some phones store SIM details and call types in their own codes, which can make the labels come out wrong. AutoDial CRM labels every call with the right SIM name, older Android versions included, and learns each phone's call type codes by itself.

  11. How do I search my call history by name or note?

Use the app's one search box. It looks across calls, contacts, leads, remarks, reminders, clients, chats, templates, products and packages, and shows each result as the same full card you see on its own screen.

  12. Is there a call history manager for iPhone?

No, not one that can read the phone's calls, since Apple blocks every third-party app from the iPhone's log. Leads, follow-ups, WhatsApp and the rest all work in AutoDial CRM's iPhone version, while the call history features need Android.

  13. What happens if a call does not sync?

It is picked up again. The sync log shows each run with a retry button and a sync-everything-again option, and a self-check finds and repairs data missing on the phone or in the account.

  14. Can I filter my call history to show only paying clients?

Yes. Paid clients is one of the ten call log filters, so a tap shows only calls with customers who have bought, without the noise of new enquiries or spam.

  15. How much does a call history manager cost with AutoDial CRM?

AutoDial CRM costs ₹299 per user a month billed every 3 months (₹897), or ₹199 per user a month billed yearly (₹2,388). In US dollars that is $3.79 or $2.79 per user a month.

Your next call is ringing.

Install AutoDial CRM, import your leads and let the dialer, the WhatsApp and the follow-up alarm do the remembering.
