SIM-based call management for Android and iPhone

Call management software for teams that call from mobile SIMs

Call management software is a business tool that logs a team's incoming and outgoing calls, links each one to a customer record, and reports the results to managers.

AutoDial CRM does this on the phones your team already carries, over their own SIMs, so there is no phone system or rented number to set up.

  • Every SIM call matched to a lead, with its status and remark
  • Assigned queues, handovers and a Done tab for each person
  • Team call logs and analytics rings in the owner's account

What is call management software?

Call management software is a system that records a business’s phone calls, connects each call to a customer and shows managers what came of it. AutoDial CRM is call management software that runs on the mobile phones your team already uses and places every call from their own SIM.

AutoDial CRM takes a different route from the cloud phone systems that fill most search results for this term. Rather than renting virtual numbers and carrying calls over the internet, it takes over as the dialer on every staff member’s Android handset. Ordinary SIM calls are saved with the SIM they used and whether they were incoming, outgoing or missed, and each one lands on the matching lead along with the status, remark and next follow-up picked after it. WhatsApp, Google Meet and Zoom calls join the same history. The owner gets every employee’s call log and the team’s analytics in a single account, and worked leads gather in a Done tab that records how each was finished. There is no IVR, no routing of inbound calls and no call queue, so setup comes down to installing an app on each phone. Product details here match the app as of 14 October 2026, and the price is charged per user. For the dialing side, see the auto dialer app.

Call management software benefits

  • No phone system to buy

Calls use SIMs the team already pays for, so there are no numbers or desk phones to rent.

  • Calls attached to leads

Each call joins the lead's history together with the outcome chosen straight after it.

  • Context while it rings

Even on a locked phone, the call screen puts up the lead's name, current status and latest remark.

  • Work shared out evenly

Leads sit in personal queues and can be handed to a colleague with their history.

  • One owner account

Call logs and analytics from every phone arrive in a single view.

Call management CRM: every call on the lead

A call log on its own says that a number rang. A call management CRM says who that number belongs to, what they wanted and when to call them next. In AutoDial CRM every caller can become a lead, saved with nothing more than the mobile number, and every later call to or from that number is filed on the same record.

  • Before the call: incoming callers are named from your own leads and clients first, and the full-screen call screen repeats the last remark, so nobody answers blind.
  • During the call: the full lead record can be opened mid-conversation, with past calls, WhatsApp messages, remarks and reminders in tabs.
  • After the call: two taps on a short sheet store the updated status, a remark and the follow-up time. Next time the number rings, that remark is the first thing on screen.
  • Missed calls: a notification offers a one-tap call-back, with SIM choice, or a WhatsApp reply.
  • New numbers: callers not yet saved can be added to contacts automatically 60 seconds after the call, with a name prefix you choose.

Status changes are kept in the lead’s history, including changes made on the web, so a disagreement about “I called them last week” can be checked. Teams that want the full telecaller routine, from morning queue to evening report, will find it on the telecalling CRM page.

SIM based call management CRM on your team’s own mobiles

Most call management systems start with a phone line you rent. A SIM based call management CRM starts with the line you already have. Customers see a normal mobile number, calls cost what your mobile plan charges, and a salesperson in a car or at a client’s office manages calls exactly as they would at a desk.

On a dual-SIM phone, the SIM can be chosen per call or one SIM can be set as the default for business calls. AutoDial CRM can replace the phone’s default dialer, keeping calls, contacts and history working as before, or work alongside the phone’s own dialer in CRM team mode, still opening the after-call sheet when each call ends. When the phone’s built-in recorder keeps a recording, the app pulls it in by itself, or a salesperson can share one into the app. People who live at a laptop can click a number in Chrome and have the phone dial it.

Call management software for small business: queues, handovers and reports

A small business rarely needs a call centre, but it does need to know that every enquiry got a call and that nothing was dropped when someone went on leave. AutoDial CRM handles that with a few plain tools:

  • Assigned queues: the owner gives leads to each person, who sees them as a personal pending list.
  • Handovers: a lead can be transferred to a colleague, and the transfer is saved with the rest of its history.
  • Done tab: finished leads are listed with how each was completed, whether by the auto dialer, tap-to-call, being marked by hand or a transfer.
  • Team call logs and analytics: the owner sees every employee’s calls in one place, and tapping a ring such as missed or connected opens exactly those calls. The call tracking app page covers the rings and lost leads in more detail.
  • Other systems: the Web CRM can share out leads from a webhook or live sheet round-robin, and call and CRM data can be pushed to a third-party CRM through its API.

Staff who also use the phone for family calls can keep those numbers out of backup. How that works, and what an owner can and cannot see, is set out on the employee call monitoring page.

Sales call management software for outbound teams

Sales call management software has a different job from a support desk: it pushes calls out and makes sure each one moves a deal forward. In AutoDial CRM an outbound rep starts an auto dialer session from a lead filter, an imported list or today’s due follow-ups, and the app dials one number after another. Unanswered numbers get 1 to 3 more tries, a ring limit ends calls that ring too long, and a minimum call length stops a two-second pickup from counting as a finished lead. Every connected call closes on the after-call sheet with a status and the next follow-up, so the pipeline the manager reviews is the one the reps actually worked that day.

Call management software setup

  1. Install AutoDial CRM on each team member’s phone and accept the dialer role during the guided setup.
  2. Set the business SIM as the default on dual-SIM phones, and choose which SIMs back up.
  3. Create your lead statuses, then bring leads in from an Excel or CSV file, a Google Sheet, or a REST API.
  4. Assign the leads so each person has a queue, and agree with the team what a finished call must record.
  5. After the first day, open the team call logs and the Done tab with the team and fix any gaps.

Call management software limits

AutoDial CRM is not a phone system. It has no IVR, no virtual or toll-free numbers, no call queues and no way to route an incoming call to whoever is free, so a support desk taking hundreds of inbound calls an hour needs cloud telephony or contact centre software. The app has no recorder of its own; recordings come only from the phone’s built-in recorder, so on a handset without one there is nothing to bring in. Apple does not let apps read the iPhone call log, so automatic logging of every call needs Android, although the iPhone app has every other feature. If your customers must reach a single company number that rings several people, this is the wrong tool. For a simpler, personal take on a smarter dialer, see the call management app page.

Call management software example

An illustration, not a named customer. An online English school in Sao Paulo, Brazil, sells course plans through 6 consultants who each call from a company mobile. Enquiries arrive from Instagram ads and the website form, about 300 a month. Before the change, each consultant kept notes in a personal notebook, and when one left, his 50 open leads went with him. The coordinator installs AutoDial CRM on all 6 phones, sets the company SIM as the default and assigns 50 leads to each consultant. Every call now ends with a status such as Trial class booked, Comparing plans or Not interested. After two weeks the Done tab shows how each finished lead was closed, and the coordinator transfers 20 untouched leads from a consultant on holiday to a colleague, with every earlier call and remark still attached.

FAQ

Call management software FAQ

  1. What is the best call management software for a small business?

For a small business whose staff call from mobile phones, the best call management software is one that needs no phone system, and AutoDial CRM fits that brief. It logs SIM calls on each person's phone, attaches them to leads and shows the owner the whole team's calls.

  2. Is AutoDial CRM call management software?

Yes. AutoDial CRM is SIM-based call management software and a calling CRM: it replaces the dialer on Android, saves every call to the right lead, and rolls each employee's calls up to one owner account.

  3. What does call management software do?

It keeps a business's calls organised: who called, who answered, what was agreed and what happens next. Depending on the product it may also route incoming calls and record them; AutoDial CRM focuses on logging, lead history, follow-ups and team reports.

  4. Is there any free call management software?

Yes, free call management tools exist, but they usually cap users or leave out team reports. Downloading AutoDial CRM costs nothing, while running a team's calls through it needs the paid plan, billed per user.

  5. What is a SIM-based call management CRM?

It is a CRM that logs calls made over ordinary mobile SIM cards instead of internet phone lines. The salesperson dials from a normal mobile number, and the app saves the call and its outcome against the lead, which is how AutoDial CRM works.

  6. Which software is used in BPO?

Most BPOs use contact centre software tied to cloud telephony, with IVR menus, call queues and many inbound lines. AutoDial CRM is not that kind of system; it suits in-house teams who make and take calls on mobile phones.

  7. How is call management software different from cloud telephony?

Cloud telephony is the phone line itself, delivered over the internet with virtual numbers and routing, while call management software can also run on ordinary mobile lines. AutoDial CRM uses your existing SIMs and adds the lead record, follow-ups and team view on top.

  8. Can call management software route incoming calls to the right person?

Cloud systems can, but AutoDial CRM does not. A call rings the phone it was dialled to; what the app adds is an on-screen view of who is calling, their lead status and the latest remark, plus a missed-call alert with a one-tap call-back.

  9. Does call management software work on a mobile phone?

Yes, mobile call management software runs as an app on the phone itself. AutoDial CRM works on Android as the default phone app and on iPhone with every feature except reading the call log, which iOS keeps closed.

  10. Can I move a lead to another salesperson without losing its call history?

Yes. A transferred lead keeps its calls, remarks and reminders, and the transfer itself is saved in the lead's history, so the new owner sees who handled it before.

  11. Can call management software send call data to my existing CRM?

Yes, if the CRM has an API. AutoDial CRM can connect to a third-party CRM API and push call and CRM data to it, so the team calls from the app while records also reach the other system.

  12. How much does call management software cost with AutoDial CRM?

AutoDial CRM costs ₹299 per user a month billed every 3 months (₹897), or ₹199 per user a month billed yearly (₹2,388). In US dollars that is $3.79 or $2.79 per user a month.

Your next call is ringing.

Install AutoDial CRM, import your leads and let the dialer, the WhatsApp and the follow-up alarm do the remembering.
