Daily call report for telecallers and team leaders

Telecaller daily report format with columns and a sample day

A telecaller daily report format is a one-page layout, usually one spreadsheet row per caller per day, that records calls made, people reached, outcomes and follow-ups.

AutoDial CRM's call log and analytics count most of the call columns for you, so the telecaller types only what no app can count.

What goes in a telecaller daily report?

A telecaller daily report lists, for one caller and one day, how many calls were made, how many connected, what the outcomes were and which follow-ups are set. AutoDial CRM is a telecaller app whose call analytics count most of those numbers without anyone tallying by hand.

A good daily report answers three questions for the manager in under a minute: how much calling happened, how many real conversations came out of it, and what the team is carrying into tomorrow. Effort columns alone, such as total dials, can look busy while nothing moves, so the format below pairs every activity number with a result. Keep one row per telecaller per day in a spreadsheet; Google’s AI Overview for this search on 14 October 2026 described the same one-row layout. With a calling app, roughly half the columns are counted for you from the phone’s call log: total, outgoing, incoming, connected, missed, rejected, unique numbers and lost leads all appear as analytics rings for any date range. What remains, outcomes, sales and remarks, is what the telecaller noted after each call anyway, so filling in the report takes minutes rather than an evening of counting.

Copy these columns into Excel, Google Sheets or a Word table. The last column says where each number comes from when the team calls with AutoDial CRM.

Telecaller daily report from call logs

The call columns come straight from the phone’s call log, so nobody has to keep a tally sheet next to the phone. In AutoDial CRM the analytics screen draws a ring for each count the report needs, from connected and missed calls to unique numbers and lost leads, plus rings for blocked and spam calls, over any period from today to all time, or dates you choose. Tap a ring and the call log narrows to exactly those calls, which is how a team leader checks a number that looks too high or too low.

To build the report each evening:

  1. Open analytics, choose Today, and copy the ring totals into the call columns.
  2. Open the Done tab to count the leads finished today and see how each was closed.
  3. Filter leads by status to count today’s outcomes, such as Interested or Not interested.
  4. Open the Reminders tab and filter to tomorrow to count follow-ups set.
  5. Add talk time if your team tracks it, then one line of remarks.

For the owner, each employee’s calls reach one account through the team call logs, and the team’s calling totals appear in the owner’s analytics, so the totals can be checked against the rows people submit. Turning these daily rows into weekly targets and trends is covered under telecaller performance tracking, and the call history side under call tracking app.

Daily telecalling report in Excel, Word or PDF

A spreadsheet is the best home for the format, because columns can be summed across days and people. Freeze the header row, add one row per telecaller per day, and use a weekly tab with sums. If your manager wants a PDF, save the sheet as PDF at the end of the week. Word works for a single day’s report but makes weekly totals awkward. Note that AutoDial CRM does not export the analytics as a file; the call counts are read from the screen and copied, while the leads themselves, with whatever filter is active, export to CSV.

Telecaller daily report: how a manager reads it

Read the report from right to left: first the remarks, which flag hot leads and problems, then follow-ups set, then outcomes, and only then the call counts. A row with many dials but few connected calls points to a poor list or the wrong calling hours. Many connected calls with few follow-ups set usually means conversations end without a next step. A rising lost-lead count means numbers that never answer; redialling them at a different time often helps, and an auto dialer app can retry them 1 to 3 times by itself.

Telecaller daily report limits

A daily report shows what happened, not why. It cannot judge how a call sounded, so pair it with occasional call reviews where the phone records calls and the customer has agreed. Numbers typed by hand can be wrong; the app’s counts are only as complete as the phone’s call log, and on iPhone the app has every feature except the phone’s call log, so call counts there need typing. If you need talk-time totals or a downloadable report generated for you, AutoDial CRM does not list those, and a dedicated call centre reporting tool may suit you better.

Telecaller daily report example

An illustration, not a named customer. An event furniture rental company in Kigali, Rwanda, has 3 telecallers following up enquiries from Instagram and walk-ins. One Tuesday, the first telecaller’s row reads: 82 total calls, 71 outgoing, 11 incoming, 37 connected, 6 missed, 4 rejected, 64 unique numbers and 11 lost leads, all copied from the Today rings. She typed the rest: 29 leads worked, 9 Interested, 7 quotes sent, 14 follow-ups set for Wednesday, 2 bookings paid. Her remark says a wedding planner needs 40 chairs for the 28th and is waiting on a budget. The owner reads the three rows at 6 pm, sees the planner as the hottest lead of the day, and asks for a call at 10 the next morning.

FAQ

Telecaller daily report format FAQ

  1. How do I write a daily report?

Write a daily report as one short record of the day: what you did, what came of it and what happens tomorrow. For a telecaller that means call counts, outcomes, follow-ups set and any problem the manager should know about, in the same columns every day.

  2. How do I send a daily work report to my manager?

Send it at the same time each day in the format your manager agreed, usually a filled spreadsheet row or a short message with the key numbers. Lead with the totals, then outcomes, then anything you need help with.

  3. Is there a daily telecalling report format in Excel?

Yes. The table on this page works as an Excel or Google Sheets layout: make each column a header and add one row per telecaller per day. Totals for the week then come from a simple sum of each column.

  4. Can I get the telecaller daily report format in Word or PDF?

Yes. Copy the columns into a Word table or save the spreadsheet as a PDF, but a spreadsheet is easier because the numbers can be added up across days and people.

  5. Which numbers matter most in a telecaller daily report?

Connected calls, outcomes and follow-ups set matter most, because they show conversations and progress rather than effort alone. Total dials are useful only next to how many of those calls connected.

  6. What is the difference between a daily call report and a performance report?

A daily call report records one day's activity and results for each telecaller, while a performance report compares those numbers over weeks or months against targets. The daily report is the raw material for the performance one.

  7. How long should a telecaller daily report take to fill in?

It should take about five minutes. If the call counts come from the app's analytics, the telecaller only adds outcomes, follow-ups and remarks, which they already noted after each call.

  8. How to make a customer visit report?

Make a customer visit report with the date, customer name, place, purpose of the visit, what was discussed and the agreed next step. In AutoDial CRM, remarks written on a visit get the area name and map coordinates added for you.

  9. Does the same format work for a medical representative's daily call report?

Mostly, yes. A medical representative's report adds columns for the doctor or chemist visited, products discussed and samples given, but the call counts, outcomes and next steps work the same way.

  10. What is the best app for making a telecaller daily report?

The best app for a telecaller daily report counts the calls by itself and keeps every outcome on the lead, and AutoDial CRM does both. Its analytics show total, connected, missed and other call counts for today, and the owner sees each employee's calls in one account.

  11. Can AutoDial CRM fill in a telecaller daily report?

Partly. AutoDial CRM counts the call columns, such as total, outgoing, connected, missed and lost leads, and keeps statuses, remarks and follow-ups on each lead; the telecaller still copies those numbers into the report and adds a short summary.

  12. How much does a telecaller daily report app cost with AutoDial CRM?

AutoDial CRM costs ₹299 per user a month billed every 3 months (₹897), or ₹199 per user a month billed yearly (₹2,388). In US dollars that is $3.79 or $2.79 per user a month.

Your next call is ringing.

Install AutoDial CRM, import your leads and let the dialer, the WhatsApp and the follow-up alarm do the remembering.
